Fondazione Cariplo is one of the world’s main philanthropic organizations, which manages the assets gathered over 180 years by "Cassa di Risparmio delle Provincie Lombarde" to carry on its long-standing philanthropic tradition. Fondazione Cariplo aims at operating on the basis of the principle of subsidiarity, anticipating needs and fulfilling its special mission of being a resource that helps social and civil organizations better serve their community.
Fondazione Cariplo supports WRL Initiative by providing specific funding aimed the implementation of local actions that strengthen the role of the city of Milan as part of the initiative as well as the dissemination of the contents between the local community.

Fondazione Politecnico di Milano

Fondazione Politecnico di Milano was founded in 2003 through a joint effort between the Politecnico di Milano, major city and regional institutions and important corporations to support the university’s research projects and contribute to innovating and developing the economic, productive and administrative environment. Fondazione Politecnico is committed to building a more effective relationship between the university, industry and public administrations.
Fondazione Politecnico supports WRL Iniziative by working in partnership with Politecnico di Milano to the project supported  Fondazione Cariplo for the development of specific local actions aimed at the support of the scientific work , to events for the exchange of knowledge, the meeting between people, the dissemination of contents and enhancement of the results.
